Iris-

My continued investment in ALYD stems from the belief that Y2K will present significant revenues for the company and that the company will diversify into growth oriented businesses. To date, the assumption about Y2K hasn't exactly been a gold mine. However, the company is now experiencing a serious increase in Y2K business.

My original assumptions on Y2K:

1) The problem is significant and widespread.
2) The problem is global not just domestic
3) The standard project failure rate of about 60% of large scale software efforts may apply to Y2K as well.
4) As companies recognize that efforts are failing, they will turn to the best resources in the industry for help.
5) The International factor will play a big role down the stretch

Reality:

1) While ALYD has won 92 Y2K contracts to date... I would have thought that the sector would have picked up faster.
2) Wall Street currently thinks that Y2K is under control.
3) Many companies have tried to fix it themselves.
4) International efforts and Governmental efforts are lethargic at best.

Where are we now? ALYD has one of the most complete and robust solutions in the industry. This will be an invaluable asset down the stretch for their clients. The company has also begun to unfold its post-Y2K strategies. ERP is first soon to be followed by an acquisition which was discussed in today's conference call.

I believe that Y2K will happen and that the company will return on my investment. I'm not even close to throwing in the towel. I'm not Kerry Collins.... I don't quit mid-season. The game isn't over yet. I guess that is why I'll be here to the end.

It is my personal shortcoming that I have been overly optimistic in the past. I am making an honest effort to change, grow, and learn from my experiences.

Best of luck with all of your investments.

In defense of techmaster....I may not agree with everything he says, and i have had my share of disputes with him......but please state your opinions in a different manner.

Please share your opinion on ALYD, but SI is full of enough crap already........Tech may not be right, and he does have a tendency to get carried away with sub-consciencely hyping this sucker ....but opinions stated in a decent manner are not only welcome here...but encouraged here.

Thank you KG4

1) Leave TM alone; personal attacks are unnecessary...altho he is more to be pitied then censured, my pocketbook tells me i was just as wrong as TM ........2)This stock alyd is a loser in a co. run by losers......3)Review old posts on this thread 8 weeks or so ago; every time myself, KG4, or others who tried and quit indicated thhe stock would drop below 4 or from 2 to 4, we were castrated....in some cases dozens of posts were wasted by otherwise intelligent honorable posters like Jeff Mitchell trying to uncover the true identity of those who dared to criticize their fallen idol,Alyd. I guess the theory was expose the true agenda of the critic and it follows that everything he says is tainted and untrue. I would interject from time to time that what difference was it who said it , let us evaluate WHAT WAS SAID, but i was pissing in the wind with the vigilantes ruling this thread. Hell even today Mansour said "Dont bother to reply to him. He talks to himself all the time" He even went further and said i sold all my shares(wish it were true). GUYS, unless you change, DENIAL will continue and so will your losses. Use your unbridled energy to make NJ INVESTORS stockholders group, not only a reality but a force that must be reckoned with and respected BY ALYD management! They are the adversary (NOT ME) ..who owes you a awful lot of accountability. BTW does anyone know what BOB said about his Aug 17th committment to buy stock at these cheap prices(91/2 then). Guys dont forget to listen to Mansour and not reply because i talk to myself. Well my dead $ that did leave the alyd i did sell 8 weeks ago are doing fine in cmb(thanx to Larry Brew) & axnt & ratl which i researched . Ferllows i aint FREUD but ive never ran across such diehards who sadisticly enjoy losing money with a dead horse. For crying out loud use your remining positive energy to see if NJ INVESTORS can bring back life to a dead horse.with YOUR SUPPORT.
