Hi Leon -- TY. A few responses: <I would think the bulk of the Satellites are produced> I read a pretty recent article that they are still working on manufacturing on a {what I call} "cubic day" -- 24/7; however , your point is well-taken. < Over 70 are in orbit now.> Yes -- which makes the "official" day some what humorous. I am sure that is the offiicial phone service, etc. I understand there are {again, my term} "Iridi sightings" clubs somewhere over the rainbow .... opps. ... somewhere on the 'net. <Now the other companies supplying handsets> the last I heard they haven't produced enough to meet current demand and at $3000 each they don't sound like low margin products, do they?> :) Re: Demand: That is encouraging; re: margin: At first glance, no; but I don't have any idea of the manu. cost, and who they are having to pay re: licensing, etc. <for MOT it's but a small part of their bottom line while it's the entire bottom line for IRIDF.> { First, thank you for distinguishing betw. I* and I* LLC. [Yes, I have read the Co's. and govt's. that comprise the LLC] That is very significant, and I was ignoring it.} Which could be a two-edged sword ---> If it is a "big hit;" a pure play for I*, yet only a small part of the total picture for MOT. From what I have heard, MOT is doing the big launch of cell/sat service in Jan. and they are expecting to "revolutionize" the industry. If that is the case, clearly, MOT would have the most to gain. I totally agree about the interview. Bill actually was a tad more adversarial than usual, and than warranted. {Maybe after Kathleen and Jimmy this a.m., he was pumped-up. :) } CEO handled it very well. This is one I will be closely watching. Should have gotten in when I intended .... this doesn't seem to be the right day. :) Thanks again for your thoughts.
