Good news but I think there is still more to be learned here.Let's hope this is the start of a turnaround.Just in time for x-mas and I agree to the move to the 1 GB basic for computers now.Good stuff. Still long and accumulating.

>>Memory Storage is the next big sales item most PC users are after, and being interchangeable through out the Syquest line up shows why syquest is considered the leader in the industry.<<

Tim -

The two products announced this week, SCSI SyQuest and USB SparQ are just new versions of the existing SparQ drive. Yes, they use the same cartridges as the SparQ drives with parallel and EIDE interfaces. However, the SparQ cartridges are not interchangeable with SyJet, EZ Flyer, or any other SyQuest products.

All of this is immaterial, however. SyQuest may have announced new products this week, but they also announced that they didn't have enough money to advertise, build or ship their current products. How do you expect them to ship new ones? Furthermore, they stated that they have no available sources of credit. How does this situation translate into a turnaround?
