Thanks for posting this, Jim - I was one of the first MSN-clients in Germany...

...till Microsoft cancelled his service this summer "forced by to high infrastructure costs". MSN's monthly fee in Germany was 49,00 DM - about $30, means 50% more than in US. It was working really well so far...

To be fair - IBM has in Germany a lot of accesspoints, mostly with ISDN, and is rated continuously among the 5 fastest services. My problems with IBM are related to their Spain-"services".

Just a few years from here all this will be better - or not?
