the tape. Many stocks traded up and sat there all day w/ large amounts of shares changing hands (heavy vol) and then the natural course took over... down. Lots of people trapped in positions bothe from today and last Tues... not to mention about 6 months of trading earlier this year that are still under water.

New highs got up to 55, new highs last Mon and Tues when we rallied to the high, were 57 at their peak. Just like during a bull when you have a correction, the correction goes and goes unitl you are scared its over but then it suddenly turns w/ the new lows not expanding to the downside on the retest of the lows... we got that today showing that the bear is still intact.

MSFT, DELL, INTC, YHOO, AOL, MU were all down form the open or dwon on the day. Trash has lead this mkt up (MSFT and DELL opened higher and closed up bu t below the open, MSFT isn't trash it is just bloated) recently, these are the mkt leaders, in order for this mkt to drive higher... the trash must get even MORE ridiculous. They turned down today. I say the rest of the mkt follows.

gold stocks didn't selloff hardly at all and on light vol. ABX was actually up?

the dollar was down. (mkt up and dollar down is a negative divergeance)

the long bond was down.

breadth was good but needed to be MUCH better... a little over 2 to 1 ain't gonna do it.

people all of a sudden seem to think everything is fine. CNBC and its guests are the MOST bullish I've seen. I see bears capitulating everywhere. Even that Favors clown thinks we're going higher before we drop. Let me say something here... when even the bears think we're going to go a little higher before crashing... who's left to cover and buy? Answer.... NOBODY. Crashes surprise everyone, even bears. Only die hard bears participate.

those are just a few.
