Correct me if I am wrong.... The Microstrategy DSS Application Server does not run on Unix platforms. It runs on Windows NT only. rajiv. yes, i believe that is accurate; the DSS server app is windows NT only, although MSTR does boast that the rest of their "DSS solutions allow the core database component to reside on nearly all enterprise server hardware and operating system combinations (Mainframe, AS/400, Unix, Windows NT, Windows)." furthermore, "[t]he development of a Unix product would require a substantial investment of resources by the Company and there is no assurance that such a product could be introduced on a timely or cost effective basis or at all." for the record, i have no position in monster. happy halloween, -chris.
