#1 and #1 from 22nd list popped big today TMSW,VMSI, SCMM marketgems.com October 23 GTW #1 pick on 23rd went straight from 49 to 57... MWHS went from 18 3/4 to 23 1/2 in two days..http://www.marketgems.com/October%2023d.html TYC went from 59 to 63 in just four days (earnings play) NBTY went from 6 5/8 to 8. CDEN went from 11 1/4 to 13 1/4 in just that one session... October 27: CHIR good for up to 1 7/8 after its report MCCO (earnings report) good for up to 1 3/4 then it retreated towards end of the session only to gap up again the next day. marketgems.com marketgems.com MACR did not do well on 27 or 28, showed no 'upswing' on 27th or 28 but on the 29th day of earnings were supposed to come out.. moved from 15 7/8 to close at a promising high of the day 17, today it continued up to 20 5/8 and was upgraded to strong buy... That is why you have to have just your own watch lists and track them well. Following tips from others or stocks you know only 'casually' can lead to disaster. When your picks come into a nice uptrend on high volume (STNRF,GTW,) it usually is a very good sign. Of course there are exceptions..TKLC did very nicely on anticipatory upswing, beat estimates soundly but succumbed to profit taking. The reverse happened when NEON ended down 3 On Thursday but was up 10... after very soundly beating earnings.... Watch List for 29-30 did very well with consecutive gains from a lot of them: DDDDF, PVN, USB, TOM, MTZ, HD,MPS,ROMC,ACTL...MXTR had very nice two days but finally succumbed.. marketgems.com
