jgsolari, your's is not the only way to invest, and Warren Buffet is not the only successful investor.

Investing in art is a totally different discipline.

One more question: have you ever taken an accounting or finance class?

What the hell does that have to do with the price of tea?? I can assure you that those with the most pieces of basically worthless paper dont have any monopoly on making money in the market....or anywhere for that matter.

If you will read my response I said that financial analysis is a supplement - not to be ignored. I, look you have received an MBA although mine may be of a greater vintage (1971). As for accounting or finance - I was the organizing chairman of a national bank which now has $1.5 billion in assets and upon which I serve on the Board and Executive Committee. I have, as general partner, initiated and completed approx. $750 million in real estate projects most of which I still own - the balance having been sold (somewhat profitably!).

Merely because one does not rely exclusively on quantitative analysis is he rendered incapable of making astutely correct investment decisions.
