All wisdom would say that Cisco would not give the industry and - more importantly - their current customer base any excuse to migrate from Cisco to Lucent during requeired upgrades. The NDS/Lucent deal is a threat. I strongly believe that Cisco is delaying for time so that they can make the NDS deal happen with Novell and to figure out how to break it to MSFT gently that they are not exclusively committed to MSFT Active Directory. I feel that there will be an announcement before year-end on this Cisco/NOVL NDS deal. Cisco is not stupid - they are arrogant - but not stupid. They will have to give in to the support the industry leading Directory Service. Toy
