My "I don't need no favors to put domes on my house" comment had to do with the technician Jerry Favors who preaches from the CNBC pulpit and rambles on about domes and peaks and houses. Maybe the "houses" part is my imagination. At any rate, the most common explanation I encounter with regard to TA is that it is no more than an analysis of people's past behavior. I have no quarrel with that. I balk only when I have to move on to the easy assumption that people, societies and cultures do not learn from their and others' experiences, and have short memories. My obtuse post this afternoon was simply a bit of loud thinking on that subject.

Have a good weekend.
