<< Robertson is now having to play "second fiddle" to the current darling of the Christian Right...that being the wonderful Dr. Laura Schlessenger. >>

Perhaps, but I still would like an answer to the Pat Robertson riddle.

Pat didn't say that he hoped that his god would strike Orlando with a hurricane. I'm pretty sure that he said something like his god was "going to" hit the Orlando area because of a Gay Day at Disney.

It begs the question: Does Pat Robertson really have communication with his god? If he does, how come he was wrong about his god striking Orlando with a hurricane? To me, it's an issue of credibility. I wonder if Pat Robertson would prefer that the issue just go away, so that he doesn't have to explain why it didn't happen.

Did Pat's god lie to him? Or, on the other hand, did Pat's god try to hit Orlando and miss? If He did miss Orlando, by accident, that would say that Pat's god is imperfect and makes mistakes.

I also question why Pat's god would strike Orlando, because of a Gay Day, but not do anything to stop years of Priests molesting children. I thought that Priests had some kind of a special relationship with their god. I guess not!?

Anyhow, now that you have brought Dr. Laura Schlessenger to my attention I will watch out for some news on her. Does she ever appear on any of the news talk shows?
