silly? why? I see 9 as being a point of resistance, and an open below todays low would mean more decay. Besides, market makers are not the evil monster that most would like to believe they are and they do not dip the price to 'take out' stops.. especially not on issues such as ISIP. sorry to upset you.. didnt mean to do that at all. Back in the biotech good ole days I learned quite a bit about investing in biotech companies. One thing I can tell you with a degree of confidence is that the trend is definately your friend. I see ISIP as a fantastic company, but like most biotechs they dont have the time/resources to pamper the individual investors. Therefore, you need to watch the tape to see what the informed money is doing with their positions. If I set my stop at 9, or 9 1/8 for that matter I firmly believe it will be taken out if we hit 9 3/8 anyhow. Nothing silly about calculating a stocks trend. There is a LOT of money being made in the markets over the last decade, and I for one would rather not be sitting in ISIP at $6 a share which is where it will go if 9 is violated. However, if we advance above 10 on Monday which I believe is a strong possibility- we could easily be on the road to recovery as I feel the broader market will start to calm next week and invesors will look for value. hey- do what works best for you. sorry to annoy you- not my intentions.. given the stocks recent performance, I would welcome ANY new money that is crazy enough to take a gamble at this stage of the game. The possibility of serious downside exists with ISIP and next week will probably be a key week for the stock.. ... earnings had been sheduled for release this week but of course, nothing.. this too is generally a bad sign.. sorry
