Thean, to be perfectly honest... I started buying puts so near the top (around 9200) that I won't see losses unless we rally another 500 points, even more than that in the small caps, and the VIX would have to drop dramatically. But you are right I have lost alot of profits on paper. BUT I am convinced that this mkt is going to end in disaster and SEVERELY damage the economy. Like I said... I came for a crash and I ain't leavin till I get one. think about this... L-T interest rates CANNOT keep rising if the stock mkt is to stay where it is, and bonds cannot keep from falling if the dollar is dropping because foreigners who own the majority of our debt start taking losses. When the dollar drops... gold rises. NOW, think about those relationships and where the long bond is, where the dollar is, and where gold is, and tell me how stocks can rise? they can't. Stocks and bonds are going LOWER... no question about in my mind. The only question is S-T when? I think we have weeks at the most. Now, I have to go buy candy for the Trick or Treaters. Thean, Your NBTY is hanging in there pretty good. Did you get back in? Violated the upper BB intraday but pulled back by the close. Maybe set up to surf the upper BB for awhile? Simple trend line analysis doesn't seem to be helping me pick a target. I think I can see some resistance about 12ish but then pretty clear sailing to 23ish. Could this be so? Care to try to teach me any new TA tricks? Alski
