Paul and Spots (covering cases and white noise),

I'm with you guys--noise is evil, dust is evil, and the best reason to keep cases covered IMHO is to cut down on these. Paul, I'd be interested in any convenient, easy solutions you find to reducing noise further. Still, I can't complain much, since the only things now producing noise in my desktop are the reasonable PS and CPU fans and the minor whirring of the Maxtor 2880s. This is another reason that full towers and low-power parts are nice--less heat and less noise (both from certain parts themselves, like the HDDs, and the reduced cooling needed to keep 'em happy.)

One of many things I've liked about the Q500 FT is how easy it is to slide off the top and side panels. I never replace the case screws, and this means it takes all of about 10 seconds to get unobstructed access to the inside.
