Haim:

It is amazing what the well-connected can get away with. Many years ago, I owned stock in a life insurance firm that reinsured Equity Funding Corporation of America's policies. The story of Equity Funding is entailed in The Great Wall Street Scandal, by Raymond Dirks and Leonard Gross. The book was published in 1974 by McGraw-Hill. That should get you angry too. However, that experience hardened me and I am not bothered by these crooks any more. There are just too many of them.

I am glad you use Cornell's Legal Information Institute site. It is one of the best.
