However, I tried to enter order on both sites(classic and new), and I got rejected on both of them. And I placed a spread trade and yesterday, and they NEVER even send me a confirmation on that trade!!!!! I think service like this is totally UN-ACCEPTABLE. Maybe you are right about that all Online brokers are the same, but..... At least now, I confirmed that one of them is real bad w/ both it's speed on market order execution and confirmation. So probably I still have to keep up w/ my journey in searching for a better broker. 1 down, just 2000 more to go, huh?

This is for those who always complain that this thread is used for bashing E*Trade ( but I do agree with the comments about the new web site ...)

I have an account with Fidelity also. Recently they introduced voice / speech recognition, for those using the touch-tone phone system. The tragedy is - customers do not have a choice to select touch-tone/speech-recognition system. (Luckily E*Trade provides a choice). So when one keys in the symbol to get a quote, if there is noise/voice/sound in the background the system takes it as input and immediately says it can not recognize the input and it asks you to input the symbol again...

This happened to me today in office; Even if I some one utters a word in the background, the system goes out of control... This is very frustrating... This is from Fidelity.....

At least E*Trade did not do this mistake, I am happy for a change...

Just my 2 cents...
