Q.Y.

Let me spell out a couple of reasons why TA based on the past 2-3 months will not work going forward.

reason 1): COMS is getting more press (it is a top pick). This brings in a different brand of investor. A brand of investor that doesn't know about TA or how to use TA to play a stock.

reason 2): The last 3 months have been relatively weak in terms of volume. Going forward with the renewed interest of the general public volume will be higher, meaning that any bases, resistance points, etc. that were formed in the last 2 months will have less signifigance going forward (simple volume ratio thing here).

reason 3): The last 2-3 months of trading were controlled more by world-wide concerns than anything that actual has anything to do with COMS. Going forward the international outlook is looking better everyday. This different set of market conditions again has a different mean for a stock and it's movement.

q;

>>But two days ago the sharp uptrend, linking ~25 3/8 with ~30 1/4, was broken<<

What days were these on?

Also, why pick those days to form your trendline? You could
have picked others.
