But it seems when you do DD on SOME BB stocks, the numbers are just too good to be true, or are just flat LIES. And BB's don't REALLY have to report to the SEC the same amount of info that all the other companies do. One thing the Net, and SI is GREAT FOR, is if you have a company in mind, you can do a people search on SI and look for somebody that lives in the same town as the company in question, and have THEM help you out. It worked for me a few months ago when i was thinking about getting into a company that had signed contracts with a large Chain store, so the stock SHOULD have taken off like a rocket. It didn't. It was around .60 a share, today it's .21 a share. I found 4 people that lived in the town, and 2 of them made a trip out to the offices and reported 6 people working in it not doing much of anything (It was a manufacturing facility of electronic equipment). I avoided it. THAT, IMO, is what the web is GREAT for, that and the charting, and the SEC data, and realtime quotes, and the 'official' information. MOST of the talk on the threads i take tongue-in-cheek, because one person says tomayto, and one sez tomato.....
