A.S.Ong Yiu;

How will sensor technology affect current desktop technology?
1. How much RAM would be required to hold a high res. image in RAM without going to a scratch disk?
2. Are current CPU's (Pentium 11 or G-3) strong enough to process them in a reasonable time frame?
3. Is multi processing required?
4. What size are these images? Storage.
5. Is current graphics, 3D software inadequate? Will it have to be rewritten? Major changes.
6. Will the software interfaces have to be changed in a major way?
7. Is this technology aimed solely at video capture or is it for general graphics software usage?
8. Are current CRTs adequate for the additional resolution or will new , higher res. CRTs have to be introduced?
9. What type of RAM would be required?
10. Is 32 bit, 64 bit or 128 bit processing adequate?
11. Is this technology mainly for video, video capture, animation, multi media, or graphics?
12. Is fire wire technology adequate for file transfers or would newer, faster technologies be needed? Any answers would be appreciated, thank you.
