Allen, I read that (Glenn, tell me if I'm wrong), as saying "Well, I could afford to gamble a minute's worth ($0.17) to get some advice, even if you get what you pay for."

In that context, I could agree. Heck, I'd even go for a quarter-hour (less than the price of a Big Mac meal)
