Wanted to be 1st Nov. poster:

Not that bad:

Here are the facts:

1.) Cash at 8/31/98 totaled $422 million (up $5 million from 5/31/98) $2.48/share,
2.) FG Inventory down $23 million from 5/31/98,
3.) Introduction of 6500 (a very strong ATM switch - excellent) has won awards (all As in some reviews),
4.) Introduction of WAN technologies (very important as this open up new markets for CS),
5.) Spectrum picking up steam - excellent software package,
6.) I do not care what anyone says, but CSCO will be hurt by the SSR (lower price aimed right at their bread and butter) - Just look at the INTC and AMD relationship - AMD invented the sub $1,000 market which is holding down INTC (INTC's stock price did not double this year (nor will it next year - Tom Kurlack is not pleased with INTC).
7.) CSCO will warn of lower growth rate (based on revenues/ports - not a solely port reduction).

Comments/Regards.
