Chief - I agree on those points and am wary. I have been fortunate 3 times now in OCT on HYAL. 2 daytrades and one overnighter.

Hyal would have been a great example of using a stop loss if you held into the $1.40's.

This week on the 27th I was in at .68 and out at .88 - yeah I could have tripled that by holding till the 28th - It was tripled on NO NEWS - suspicious at best. I was on the right side for a change.

I did Ok on CRN in one acct - out at 1.15 - the other I am in at 1.00 from thurs. Got greedy and did not pull the trigger when it was riding around the high teens all day.

I will be watching Monday open.

Someone asked me about the stocks I trade a while back. I has replied that I only like to trade em if they are on the ticker and I am familiar with them. When I mean familiar - for short term trades, I do not mean I know the birthdays of the kids of the CEO - I mean I know the trading patterns.

I hardly traded this month - I flipped some DML, LAB, NAI for some little profits and losses and some HPC - The reason I traded HPC is because I played it a few months ago and I knew something was up when the trading patterns altered - it was on the ticker. I did the same for WSP - on the ticker and activated so I bought some.

Now with CRN, NAI and DML all activating - EVEN if it is manipulation I am in and will pull the trigger if I have to. I am working on some strategies for this week for some different scenarios with NAI and DML. It has been successful in the past and can be again and it involves minimizing losses and preserving gains on a downturn and maximizing gains on the upside.

I will not be posting on Monday much as fast markets require all my atttention.

Good luck - Chief - For talk on the specific equities I will be on the appropriate threads - this post is a general one.

BOOO -

I nailed CRN and DML on Friday and wouldn't even consider on holding overnight on any of them!

I wouldn't hold those overnight also, because of past experiences. At one point near the end of the day on CRN and DML, I noticed the ASK SIZE was 4 times as large as the BID SIZE. This was an indication to get out for me, while I could. I don't have real-time market depth yet, but I used the SIZE to my advantage that way based on simple market economics (whether it is valid or not). I am really at a disadvantage with respect to the rest of you, because all I can use right now is real-time quotes with SIZE. One day soon, I will get the "full meal deal" with Stockwatch.

HI Everyone. I still don't like the way both CRN and the SVB (South Voisey Bay) stocks moved...this was done shortly after Hyal moved! I think the brokerages are playing, can't prove it...but I defintely believe it! MOO..just be careful how you play these ..if you are!
