Joe:

I have long thought that biotech rallies have personalities. The big caps always rally first. I have a weird aversion to them, so I sat holding my dead money while Harold, V1 and others were raking it in. We started "Bounce" so that we'd catch the next wave, the "big science" and "fool-proof business plan" companies among the (largely) second tier. It worked..... they moved next.... even allowing for our wonderful AVIR, the portfolio was up 27.3% in two months. Nice picks, everyone........

Of course, the big caps kept on plowing along, so one might chide the effort. Tough....... it was fun. ;-)

Of course, "Margin-pain" and T/FIF just sat and rotted.....

I feel that widely-followed stocks come next. XOMA and LG*D both kicked up their heels, for example. SCIO is not only widely followed, they also have their under-publicized play on CHD. When SCIO moves (not saying it will, of course), it sometimes does a "get out of my way or I'll flatten you", and this time they have a major approval pending. Plus, Miljenko and some other friends recently noted some insider trades of interest.
