Rudedog: Thanks. I thought the idea of the thin servers for home connectivity and such was a good idea. More and more homes have multiple computers and they aren't necessarily homes with in-house guru's (mine left for MIT years ago).

There are a great many small businesses that would jump all over this if the message gets out there.

NTAP (www.netapp.com) is an example of the kinds of network appliances that are evolving rapidly that facilitate the idea of a "thin server". The application server, (or web server), use other storage appliances (which can be anywhere) for data/program/content stores, and the thin server becomes a throughput appliance, for example.
