guess that will be first place to test out year2000 bug :-)
(they used to have a custom and am not certain if they finally got rid of it..but it was a way of creating ambivalence towards material possessions.. if you owned something and a relative said I like it may I have it..to save face you had to hand it over :-) even sharks' teeth..a real prized possession)
ps..think they are getting killed with the lower sugar prices ..so why not push tourism more..and bottled Fijian waters and garments

Yes, the World's middle class is being squeezed. As the pain gets greater the pressure to reflate increases. lf it happens in U.S. they will turn on the money machines and/or suffer at the polls. Probably both. Inflation should be back. Unless, that is, it has gone beyond the ability of the FED and Congress to reflate. In that case, the mother of all depressions.
