So what is wrong with it ?

Let's say company A will buy 30K copies of OS . Microsoft offers a discount deal goes like the following:

If you buy all the 30k copies of OS from US, we will give you a discount of 40%,
otherwise we will sell you with the full price !!!

Another example :
Say company A invited FORD and GM for an open bid to buy 50 cars .

FORD offered a bid which was : If Company A bought all the 50 cars from FORD,
FORD will give a 30% discount for each car. If you translate thisd , it is equivalent to " Company A will not get the discount if company A did not buy all
the fifty cars from FORD. If company A did not buy all the 5o cars from FORD, then there is at least one car bought from GM, because only FORD and GM were invited for the open bid. So, it also means if company A bought any cars from GM,
then FORD will sell the cars to company A with full price , otherwise , FORD will
offer a 30% discount for all the 50 cars company A bought from FORD.

So, what is wrong if MSFT told one of his customers that if that customer bought all
the OS it will buy from Microsoft, then Microsoft will offer this customer a discount ? Of course , it also means if that customer did not buy all the OS it will buy from Microsoft, then Microsoft will not offer the discount . Of course if the customer did not buy all the OS it will buy from Microsoft, then there must be some copies of the OS boght from other OS vendors, and which are Microsoft's competitors.

I really did not see anything wrong with this kinds of offer , say if you buy everything from me, I will give you a discount.

If you buy everything from me , then I will give you a discount == I won't give you a discount if you buy anything from the competitors.

But in the business world, companies always give such kind of offers, i.e "
If you buy everything from me , I will give you a discount", they will never
say I won't give you any discount if you buy anything from the competitors.

However, these two sentences really mean the same thing logically !!!!
