Chris, You can play coy if you desire, but deep down you know full well what I mean by public. Remember Chris. Christianity isn't the dominate religion in the world. The day that you agree to having your child/children exposed to Islam, Judism, Buddism and the list can go on and on, them get back to me about having religion taught in the public schools. As hard as you might find it Chris, I'm trying my best to preserve your freedom to believe what you desire and to offer these beliefs to "your" children. The recent discourse between Dan, you and with me only proves my point. In a free society where open debate is allowed your Christianity dogma can't withstand the pressure of having to answer the "hard questions". I have posed numerous questions, and in the case of Dan he responds that I"M rambling. Point might well be taken, however, at least I'm not guilty of not responding to the question. Chris, you know that within your church walls, discussion and debate is a one-sided issue. Challenge the dogma and out you go. Chris, you can't deny this and you know full well that excommunication rules within the bounds of church doctrine. Chris, if you bring religion into the confines of public education then we will either have full debate or we will have anarchy in our society. More violence and murder of the masses, all for the sake of perpetuating your dogma. Chris, are you totally ignorant of history as it relates to this issue. As has been exemplified by Dan, he can't answer the hard questions. And you should know that church attendance of most major relgions are in a steady decline. This in my opinion is the direct result of people asking the hard questions but getting no direct response. Other than you just have to believe. Dan, within the confines of your church you can offer a one-sided presentation of Noah and the ark. However, in a public school forum you would have to answer that a rain fall amount that is in excess of 10 inches is considered a huge rainfall, but in the case of Noah how do you explain that is rained 30 feet an hour ALL over the Earth. Dan it is here that you loose converts to your cause. Just think about it Dan and I think you will see my point that you don't want your dogma brought into a public forum where there is debate. If so, why isn't their open debate within your Christian churches today. I dare you to stand up tomorrow and just for the sake of it, in the middle of your pastors sermon, shout out that I don't believe what you just said. Don't worry however, there are thousand of other churchs that will take you in ....until you again stand up and shout...I DON"T BELIEVE WHAT YOU JUST SAID! One final point. The Rev. Jimmy Allen was a major leader of the Southern Baptist Convention, as was his son. Ask the Rev. Allen and his minister son what happens when an issue that is the "whipping boy" of the hate doctrine that is used to rally the Christians is brought into the church by one member of the minister's family. Yes, Chris they were asked to leave the church and you now what the wife of the minister was guilty of? She had the misfortune to contract AIDS from a blood transfusion and transmitted it to her unborn child. You see Chris, it is not only questions that can get you ousted, but merely misfortune and being a member of a church that teaches they hate homosexuals and the disease that God has exclusively given to them for their ungodly ways.
