Comment on my own post.

I notice that "Vilnis" only joined the Raging Bull today and he has posted a couple of dozen times on all sorts of threads, always pasting in paragraphs that I quoted in my previous post. I wonder if he is trolling for something.

Raging Bull is a kind of wannabe SI, with some interesting features:

Hi Tommaso, interesting post, but is it factually accurate? It sounds erudite, but, the writer misuses fairly common words, e.g.

>>>>>One of the basic problems with this system is that it is, at least linguistically, fraudulent.<<<<<

"Linguistically" is misapplied in this sentence, and an educated person should know that. The general level of language used does not seem to be that of an educated person. Which makes me wonder about the source of the factual statements, like this one:

"The cost of living in the USA in 1941 was the same is in 1790."

If true, and it may be, for all I know, it's certainly not common knowlege, nor was it taught in any history course I ever took, nor in any book I have ever read, which suggests to me that the writer has had the benefit of advanced education. Indeed, many of the factual assertions are accurate, and suggest wide reading.

Curious, also, that he grabs the attention by asserting that, if one wishes to be among the 3% "who will make significant profits during the next few years," one should read his article, which is the type of come-on used by hucksters, yet he does not make good on the assertion.
