Hello John : Greeting in the Lord. The following verse reminds me of what the Lord did for our community today. "For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly." The number one Christian gospel vocalist in the nation is Ivan Parker. He became famous after writing "The Midnight Cry". He had a concert in the Carolina's yesterday and had to work his way back to Nashville. Out of the blue he called our church and asked if he could visit with us today. He came . He sang. Many songs. Then he ministered to an overflow crowd. 10 or 15 people gave their hearts to the Lord, it was great. I have been rejoicing all day long. God is so good. Many of the people there could not have afforded to go to see him in concert. Also , I would like to thank the Lord for bringing 'Donnie' to salvation. This thread prayed for him several times. Also, 'Dink' has come to salvation. I would have to go back and see if Dink was lifted up here. To be honest I don't remember. Donnie was baptized today and Dink was baptized two weeks ago. Also Jim, has come to salvation. The beautiful part about these three individuals is that although "babes in Christ", they are firmly planted and rooted. I rejoice that they are prospering in the Lord, and have set their chins to the plow and not looked back. All three, after a very long time coming to the Lord; cannot get enough of Jesus. It is a sight to behold. Also Ronnie, who has been mentioned on this thread specifically to establish him in his new life with Christ; led his girlfriend to Jesus today. Both of them broke down into tears . It was a beautiful thing to see. I boke into tears also. However, there are still so many needs. So many still lost. Pray for Fred, Jane's son, Clarence, Clay, Gina, and Patrick. Also eye problems are abounding. Pray for Mavis and, Judy. Possible gluyacoma, and macular degeneration. Pray for Thelma. Possible polymyocistis. But long after we have forgotten praying for these people God is healing them and bringing them to salvation, and then using them to reach others. It is as if God would rather do it quitely on His own timetable and on His own agenda. But, when I find out about it I just want to shout it from the roof tops. Glory to God !!!!! In Christ gregor
