Because the sub human garbage trying to do the reverse needed the money to recompense share holders who wound up with less than 1 share!!

If they had brains they'd do the reverses in steps, wait for the erosion, do another one, wait for erosion, do another one.

Here's a simplified example

Scum #1 owns 37,000 shares
Scum #2 owns 37,000 shares
All of the other victim investors, for example, 800 persons owning 2125 shares each or 1.7MM shares total, which when reversed become 48 shares. After the reverse, the typical investor owns 2125/37000 or .05743 shares per person, on average.

At $8.82 per share pre-split, that becomes $326,470 per share post-split. The fractional shares would then become cashed out.

But of course, the crooks would wait for the $8+ share price to tank and then do the reverse after the bottoming.

Now, if the slime weren't so greedy, they could do a 40 for 1 reverse and a month later do another 40 for 1 and then 20 for 1. The payout in cash after the first reverse would be minimal, if anything. After the continued price decline after the reverse, the payouts would be more frequent but less costly.
