Pat, AT&T expects to hire more then 1000 people to sell phone and data services to corporate customers in bit to boost ravenue growth, said R.Annunziata,president of AT&Tbusiness services.ATT wants to greowth this bussines 9% in 1999.This movment comes even as the company is in the mids of slahing 18000jobs this year! As you remember we were talking, that ATT wants to concentrate on high-end users at the expence of low-end.Such move is clearly go for vendors providing multiservice,reliable platforms, like NN's ATM.
