Grant,

Being a numbers person myself, I have been calculating similar numbers as you have. Also, if DCI has turned the corner to profitability this quarter, that could have an impact on the price. I still am going with the $10 price, because it seems very reasonable and I do not want to get myself too excited thinking about a higher price (G)

It is so hard to speculate on things when we don't know what the QP is all about. (but I am having fun trying!) Hopefully we will have most if not all of the answers before Thanksgiving.

Grant,

Your numbers are not out of line. I have been numbers crunching ever since the 9/23 Press release and the CC. The new PR just solidifies the fact that the revenues for the second half of the year are fantastic. At the end of the CC Joe Murphy said that by the end of the fiscal year (March 99) we would have a Revenue Run rate of $450 million and be profitable. I thought I had heard wrong and called another person who was on the call, just to check, and he heard the same thing.I have been attempting to back into his number and can get to a RR of $320. It only requires growth of $30mill more between now and the end of the fiscal year to hit his number.

If you use any of these numbers and the past formula that we were using , the companies value is much more than $10 per share. Now I know why at the Annual Stock Holders meeting when some one mentioned $10 a share as a price to the principals of Edge there was a snicker of disbelief. Like they were looking for a lot more.

I do think the profitability numbers will be a key factor for both the third and fourth quarters. If you take the Revenues as we know them now for Edge , TimeCom JV, and all other , with the new margins of 16.5% and the tax loss carryovers, it is not difficult to see that future earnings alone could dictate a price of $10 per share. .

Sorry to get carried away and I don't mean this to be Hyping, but I truly don't believe the market has grasped what the close-in future holds for this company, whether it gets sold or not.
