Sunday, November 1, 1998 Published at 06:25 GMT

The virility drug Viagra has gone on sale in Kenya.

Kenyan television said the pill - which combats
impotence in men - would sell for between five hundred
and six hundred Kenyan shillings per tablet Viagra,
made by Pfizer Laboratories in France, is available in
most European countries for between nine and fifteen
dollars, but a thriving black market has developed.

Kenya is one of the few African countries where Viagra
