Joe, Hmm, I'm surprised to hear you say that. I guess you think it was just time? I felt that it was due to the positive preannouncement the day before (though it wasn't through an official press release, but rather through an analyst meeting). Joe I don't know how many people would interpret that as a pre-announcement if they didn't follow COMS. For example there was a lot of wording in there like "starting to see an improvment..."... If you didn't follow COMS it would sound like the company was trying not to post a loss for the quarter rather than a huge profit. With Re.: T I don't think the TCI cable deal is the only thing in the works there. The TCI cable deal is just part of it. T wants to figure out how to offer phone service over cable lines and have said so. If they are going to use COMS as the TCI head-end stuff, they will need to use COMS for the rest of it (that's just the way that T works). Should be interesting if nothing else. Steve
