ProCyte Signs Supply Agreement for Skin Care

Targets Rapidly Growing Aesthetic Surgery Market

REDMOND, Wash., Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- ProCyte Corporation (Nasdaq: PRCY - news) said closely held AdvoCare,
Inc. will supply ProCyte's skin care products to patients undergoing cosmetic and aesthetic surgery.

AdvoCare will market, finance and provide pre- and post-operative care for cosmetic and aesthetic surgery procedures. The
company has developed a comprehensive package of products and services which address the needs of physicians and
patients through all aspects of cosmetic surgery, beginning with the initial consultation.

The non-exclusive agreement gives ProCyte additional access to this niche marketplace for its full line of products, including
patient kits specifically designed for AdvoCare and its physician customers. The initial product launch will focus on laser skin
resurfacing procedures, and will feature ProCyte's new line of Complex Cu3(TM) products including Tissue Repair Creme, Gel
and Cleanser, packaged in a post-laser kit. Based on ProCyte's patented copper peptide technology, Complex Cu3(TM)
products represent a significant advance for post-laser recovery by promoting an optimal healing environment.

Plans call for a launch of the promotional programs during early 1999 and participation by over 1300 of the largest physician
offices during the first two years. ProCyte will begin shipping orders in 1999.

This report may contain forward looking statements. The Company's results may vary significantly from quarter to quarter and
will depend among other factors on product launches and market acceptance, manufacturing contracts, and distribution
agreements.

ProCyte Corporation is a healthcare company that develops, manufactures and markets products for tissue repair, skin health
