I agree generally with Cacaitos last 2 posts. regarding your this or that post bluegreen, I would say you may be off base.
My best guess is NOT anti-LPS, NOT antibacterial, but all 3. or even all 4............ Huh>Consider this>
Anti-endotoxin>(as mop up) most probable reason.
Antibacterial, certainly may help (with antiendotoxin mop up)
Anti-clotting>BIG unknown at this juncture
Anti-cascade>sub-category of antiendotoxin but this does not deal with toxin elimination, I am talking cascade-blocking (cd14)(cocktail)

So in summary my answer is not this or that, but some combination of all four above. Once they track down the culprit(s), meningo is a goner. Opinions?
