Hmmm, you are the first person who has articulated a well reasoned explanation to the items I have posted. I will consider your argument.

In the mean time, you must admit it would be a relief to see him dump these shares and get it over with before BT can be bought out (If they are to be). That scenario would alleviate the potential conflict of interest that I still see.

He should stay out of bank stocks (Even in a blind trust). He has other investments now such as:
