Go wash your mouth out, alan. I've never gone whining to the site administrators, or threatened to do so. You can search long and hard for me saying anything good about Clinton. I'll give you a quote that comes close to my sentiments on the matter, and I don't think it comes from a Democrat. I've posted it here before, but it bears repeating.

"I thought from day one, as I think today, that this was bad for the country," said one of Starr's defenders who now questions his tactics. "Sometimes you have to exercise prosecutorial discretion." Even though this defender of Starr said he believed the president was guilty of significant misconduct, he said, "the cost to the country far outweighs the value of proving it." (from nytimes.com

That's just one point of view. But I find it ridiculous that all the hatred heaped on Clinton by you guys is considered rational debate, and defense of Clinton on any grounds is "partisan hatred". To return to the "historical dodge" of Iran/Contra, Congress made the reasonable decision that it wasn't worth pursuing impeachment proceedings in that context. I've never said Congress was wrong there. I have said that the Iran/Contra matter involved much more serious matters, directly involved with the President's duties as President. And, of course, the cover-up on that matter never ended.
