OK, now how about some short positions: (Rules: Set tight stops and if your stopped out re-short higher - always study the chart patterns before shorting anything! - know at what price to be short and what price the chart shows to get out or if ticks show dumping cover as soon as you see it base and about a 1/4 to 1/2 point up from the base.) What is your opinion of FP? Is it a good stock for daytrading? It looks to me that the stock is just starting to turn up. Any thoughts on this? Thanks for starting this thread. New year's resolution... I did a little thinking this morning, and read a few of my old posts. I'll be making a resolution for next year to only average one trade a week. I think that will better suit my trading style, which is more of a position trading style I think. Plus, I am mainly into a sector (microcap biotech) which really is not tradable on such a small time scale as each day--I maintain position in about ten stocks, and I think I can skim some profts of the volatility in microcap biotech, but rebalancing and news-driven moves don't happen every day in that sector. Anyway, I'll be taking my biotech trades off the thread--that will help reduce the noise coming from me. If I do a trade in something else, like pair for instance, I'll still be here for that. Here is the link to the most recent post on my one trade a week thread, which as I said will be microcap biotech. Message 6933244 I provide the link for any biotech enthusiasts which may be lurking here--but not to skim off anybody of the regulars from your thread, Trader J. Microcap biotech is NOT for the faint of heart, and as I said, is really better suited for position trading rather than the real short term profiteering that daytraders do. Greetings and happy new year! Thanks for the invite TJ - looks like a respectful, high quality thread. Anybody following ABTX? I bought Thursday at 13 5/16 as an intermediate-term hold. Based on the stock's past behavior, I expect mid to high teens within a couple of weeks, even without news - and the rumors are beginning all over again. Other thoughts?
