Like to hear other people's feedback, but it seems like SEEM managment tries to rally up support when the stock price seems to be in trouble:

(1) When SEEK was heading below 20 after its climb to 45 during the spring, there came the timely Disney deal talks that pushed the price up to the 40's again

(2) When CEO knew earnings weren't going to be too red-hot, we get a preview anouncment touting SEEK as the future #1 stock, and when the price is falls down 10% on Monday, we get an anouncment that the new site unveiling is sooner than we think.

I don't know, maybe I'm reading too much into it, but something doesn't smell too good.

As for the AOL-SEEK comparison, people forget that AOL is the recognized #1 leader in its field (not that I personally like AOL's service one bit, but it is the most popularly used) while SEEK is still very much behind YHOO. Until (or if) it can change that, investors may regard it as only second tier.
Best luck to all,
Rommy
