Gottfried, Katherine, Big Bucks and ALL,

Within the past week I have spoken with at least five individuals who are in positions of reviewing the impact of the Y2K problem with the various Missouri State Agencies, here in the Capitol, Jefferson City.

They indicated that from the review the State was going to have to spend millions of dollars replacing the PC's to be Y2K compatible. However, Apples Power PC have been compatible for years and therefore will not have to be replaced. Since I own a MacIntosh Power PC I was very happy and very very happy to know that more PC's will have to be purchased--for increased SEMI sales and AMAT.<g>
