Jeff,

Get the Realtick III system if you can. I highly recommend it! There are many other variables though that are necessary for fast level II service. A T1 or T3 (preferable) telephone line (ordered through your local telephone company). A fast computer with plenty of ram (128 MB) for multiple charts. A T1 or T3 modem. The right level II supplier (I do not know this one since I trade at a firm downtown).

You are dead on the money with regards to the 'Net' stocks. That is why I only recommend them for a day that the market is dumping. Too dangerous on average or up trending days.
