Larry, Yes, we've all been hearing " be patient " for quite some time now. We've beaten the negatives and positives like a dead horse, but the bottom line is only time will tell which side the coin lands on. Being patient may not be bad advice for some people. My thoughts on ALYD, is that it could eventually do something. Eventually being the key word. My advice, and mind you this is only my opinion, is that we could see $3 or $4 as easily, or more easily then we will see $8 or $9 in the near future. For people that got in at respectable levels that are able to get out now, well, I just think there are far too many other places to put your money right now that will generate better, and more stable returns. There is a long, long list of undervalued big name companies out there...with excellent histories, excellent people, excellent numbers and etc, etc.... On the other hand, for people that unfortunately got in at higher levels, being patient may not be a bad idea. If you got in at above $10 and we are currently in the mid $6's, who cares if it hits $2 - $4......ride it out, be patient, and more then likely eventually this company will get back to $10, or above. I think it will be awhile, and I think they have their work cut out for them in more ways then one.......but eventually they will go higher, if not on their own strength, then on the strength of the overall market. What you have to look at there...is lets say we get back to $10 or above down the road. If the market is also considerably higher, did you really do well by holding ? Anyway, my thoughts would be if you have gains you would like to offset, ditch this and take a loss, and make your ALYD losses back with something else. If your portfolio has had a rough year, I would ride ALYD out and see what happens. Remember...good things come to those who wait, and I have no doubt that one day....who knows when....but one day, ALYD will do something. Since I was able to get out where I got in....and since I don't know when " that one day " will be, and I personally don't think it will be soon....I put my money elsewhere....but being patient may just turn out to have been the right thing to do with this baby, and I hope those that are being patient and putting their faith in ALYD will be rewarded one day. Good luck
