Re: Wooooh....JW posting DMT vs CAP information to the Westell thread? A Scary Reality for sure, but at least I waited until the Week of Halloween. I'll bet William Clopton is now rolling over in his SI grave. For SureMessage 341963 I could have been a pain in William's side and Debated the DMT/CAP Issue over and over wasting bandwidth and members time here on the Westell Thread, but that's not my style and I stayed over on the Amati Thread, and fully debated those who entered my realm on there. When my early research found information useful to Westell I posted it here. Then someone created the WSTL Vs AMTX thread, where I wasted Hours Debating John Paris, until I found he was going in circles never answering the addressed issues. Not really addressed in the current replies to me, was any mention of my addressing the Past/Future Rallys of the ADSL stocks. I posted <i/>I was in on the first round. #'s approximate and go from Feb. 96 to June 96. In 5 months one could have made lot's of $$. PAIRGAIN went from $20. to $120 then Split 2 for 1 Westell went from $12. to $80 then split 2 for 1 Amati went from $6. to $36. I have not found any charts that show the True Highs of PAIR and WSTL in June of 96. Charts do not show post split information. These were significant Profits for those who owned a stake. In early 96 I was new to the short-term investment world, and I can still remember the words of Professor John Cioffi as we walked from Hall A (where John had just received a Fellow Award from the IEEE) to Hall C together at SuperComm 96 (where he was to give a presentation on Multimedia Expectations) , as I mentioned to him, that I was a Amati shareholder, (Amati was at $33). he stated "Always take enough profit to cover your initial investment" His Session was delayed one hour, and I decided to call my broker (sold 75%) :^), then we chatted for about 40 min. My early DD paid off, for if I had not attended SuperComm, I could have been left holding the proverbial Bag, since Amati never Split. Could we see these types of profits again with the current ADSL Equipment Manufactures? A Scary Thought to Ponder..... And Now -Do You Want To See Something That's Really Scary! The Two Headed Monster Amadeo Zevi : Chris Alexander Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween. I Want My DMT JW@KSC
