JIM,
I think I figured out the AMD rally. Warren Buffett says to invest in companies that you can see easily. To see Wrigley's and Phillip Morris, just go to a conveinience store and look at the shelves. Ask the clerk which brands are selling well. To see how AMD is doing in the market, go to Circuit City. I went last night and found that approximately 70% of all the machines had AMD cpu's. IBM, COMPAQ, PACKARD SMELL, CTI all had AMD k6-2 350's or lower. Of the other 30%, the 400 & 450's had Pentium II's and two low end machines had Celeron processors. The sales staff tells me that AMD is now the #1 seller @ Circuit City. This is a big change over 2 months ago. Gentlemen, there is a new shark in the pool and he is hungry. I believe the #'s for this Q are going to amaze even the crustiest curmudgeon anaylists out there. There are probably some fund managers who will be buying much higher than they sold. Serves them right. I'm in @ $15 and loving it.

Bruce

JIM --what is AMD resistance point? I shorted GTW gateway near its 58 resistance point for a few points last week. I didn't see any AMD rumors this weekend so AMD should fall in the AM monday .
