The jokes are a lot better on the "LSD is the best medicine" thread !

My wife is from Peru and she has used the "I thought it was the speed limit" defense on I-95 more than once. Despite her claim of success, I still bet it was her "I didn't realize my blouse was unbuttoned" defense that kept her from getting the ticket.

To David regarding Microsoft: Microsoft has definitely used their near-monopoly status to stifle (i.e exterminate) competition. Did they break the law ? Tough to say. My gut feel is that we will conclude that MSFT didn't do anything anyone else wasn't trying to do, just their near-monopoly status made their aggressive tactics more successful. Not to mention that a lot of their competition did themselves in and MSFT probably just gave them an extra nudge. Of course, the DOJ will argue that it is illegal for near monopolies to do some things that non-monopolies can do. So the "everyone else was doing it" defense may not work. IMO, MSFT using the "yes we did it but we were set up" defense is one of the dumbest things they could have said.

So ... anyone heard anything from EXSO lately ?????

Chris
