South Voisey's Bay Bursting Back to Life

As we alerted subscribers in our midday email flash (click here to view or here to register for future alerts) , the SVB junior explorers exploded back to life today with Donner Minerals [DML.V] and Northern Abitibi [NAI.C] leading the charge. DML was up over 50% to $0.43 at the close after touching $0.55 earlier, and NAI was up a spectacular 150% to $0.30 at the bell after posting an intraday triple when it hit $0.36. Other SVB stakeholders also had good days with Pallaum [PLM.C] up 5 cents to $0.30, Labrador [LAB.V] up 3 cents to $0.20 and Cypress Minerals [CYP.V] also up 3 cents to $0.16.

DML and NAI issued exchange-requested updates after the markets closed, but each claimed "no material changes". While it is possible the sudden simultaneous renewed interest in all the SVB players was a coincidence (yeah, right!), the Insider Group does note that drilling is ongoing on the DML/NAI properties.

Action everywhere! The junior resource markets certainly seem to be entering November in a very different mood than they ushered in October, and the Insider Group is growing increasingly optimistic about the next several months. Although the potential remains for tax-loss selling to restrain a widespread recovery until early to mid December, we hope the very worst of 1998 may finally be behind us.
