Generic Poll by Fox News Shows Big Lead for Republicans

In this week's FOX News/Opinion Dynamics Poll, 900 registered voters were asked who they would vote for if the 1998 congressional elections were held today.

Forty-four percent say they will vote for the Republican candidate and 37 percent for theDemocratic candidate. Among the most likely voters, the spread widens to 48 percent Republican and 38 Democratic.

On election eve in 1994, Reps were down 4 points rather that up 10 - a gain of 14% for Reps. Let's hope the Reps win that big!
