This might not be a high-powered posting (okay, so it isn't), but it might be of interest to some... I went with seven friends to a combined Wendy's/Tim Horton's for lunch today (in the Detroit area). Several of us tried Tim Horton's for the first time (excluding previously trying bagels or coffee), and everyone was very favorably impressed. The soup won kudos, as did the ceramic (or whatever they're made of) mugs and nondisposable plates/utensils. It seemed to be a step up from the typical fast food place. It sounded like Horton's won a bunch of repeat customers.
