The problem is that the Joe Sixpacks are going to see GS as a hero. We live in a world that wants instant gratification and the hell with 5 years from now. As a result, nothing will much be said nor done about LTCM. Most people view this the same was they view politicians... just as long as I get my share I don't care what they do. I would fully expect to go to jail if I did some of the things I see happen in this market. Insider information and leaks are everywhere. Just look at the charts before news breaks on a company and tell me someone did not know a day or so before the majority knew. Monty
